Job Description Summary

As the Marketing Director, Oncology you will own the US and Canada (USCAN) Region marketing strategy for the oncology care pathway. You will develop and activate a cross-business marketing strategy with stakeholders from the region and product lines tailored to the specific interests and mission of key health systems and patients and ensure execution with a disciplined, coordinated approach. Your stakeholders include, but are not limited to internal and external partners, including global and regional leaders, sales and marketing stakeholders, care pathways and businesses, and healthcare system decision makers including administrative and clinical leadership.
The key outcome of this role will be to drive sales growth by effectively seeing and targeting opportunities, tailoring effective outreach strategies based on the specific drivers in patient experience and customer priorities and positioning GEHC as a trusted thought leader through high quality and innovative sustained communications.

Job Description

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Align cross-business marketing resources to segment target customers ensuring consistent messaging and communications to optimize engagement to key customers, partners, and markets
  • Problem-solve, lead and support best in class KOL (Key Opinion Leader) experiences with key partners and coordinate cross-team/functional action plans
  • Manage outside agencies as needed in the following capacities: project estimate development, time management, and execution of project components including content creation
  • Track and manage detailed budget for responsible tactics
  • Customer satisfaction and experience
  • - enabling strong, business-centric, collaborative relationships with customers, both internal and external
  • Champion a strong marketing and sales alignment. Collaborate and partner within marketing functions to pave the way to drive campaign concepts, custom content requirements, digital marketing support/message testing and creative development to ensure effectiveness for a focused list of strategic accounts
  • Direct campaigns & messaging; understand voice of customer to tailor campaigns and messaging to personalize the experience for key strategic account

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in Marketing or related field (Marketing Acumen experience and capability working with agency/vendor partners on complex projects. An ability to identify regional marketing, and then project lead and implement regional marketing initiatives.)
  • Proven track record deep in marketing strategy, analytics, and operations with ability to influence cross functionally
  • Extensive experience in the development and execution of creative campaigns
  • Experience with analytics and data-driven marketing
  • Proven results as a marketing or sales leader with demonstrated market-facing skills and an understanding of customer and sales needs and expectations
  • Demonstrated ability to be quickly recognized as a partner to Sales and resource to members of the marketing team. The successful candidate must have excellent skills at influencing outcomes and shaping and catalyzing dialogue across and outside the organization.

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Ability to travel 10% and willingness to work flexible hours

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Healthcare, medical technology or Pharmaceutical industry marketing experience specializing in oncology
  • 5+ years health system experience ((either working within a health system focused on strategic/business development, communications, physician outreach, marketing activities) or marketing to health systems
  • MBA or master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Experience in thought leader management and key customer interactions

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $138,720.00-$208,080.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
