Role Overview: As our Marketing Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in spreading the word locally and nationally about Miracle Swimming’s work. Your work will grow the reach of our marketing and our school, which involves understanding local and national markets, managing traditional and digital marketing campaigns, and engaging with our community through social media and other channels.

The ideal candidate demonstrates practical experience growing a brand, both on a local and national level.

Role Objectives:

• Drive qualified leads to the website to fill courses and sell ancillary products.
• Generate brand awareness locally and nationally about Miracle Swimming’s methodology and its far-reaching results.

Key Accountabilities:

• Assist in planning and executing marketing and publicity campaigns
• Keep our website updated with the latest course information and news
• Assist with growing and managing our database of students and instructors
• Suggest engaging content plans and relevant community events
• Listen to student/community feedback and relay to our internal team
• Coordinate with other teams on marketing initiatives and product/servicedevelopments to ensure brand consistency
• Contribute to the overall growth and innovation of our programs

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience in a marketing role
• Demonstrated knowledge of SEO, basic website editing, and social media management on your resume
• Relevant experience working directly with key decision makers
• A college degree is preferred, but we are open to candidates with the right combination of experience and skills
• Must have strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines, with an exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding proofreading skills
• Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with little supervision or direction
• Must have strong people skills and be willing to work with a wide range of personalities
• Unique Qualification: Qualified non-swimmers who are eager to overcome their fear of water are encouraged to apply!

Compensation:

• This role will begin as part-time and starts with an hourly wage between $20.00 and $25.00 depending on experience and related skills.
• Part-time hours will be 15-20 per week to start.
