JOB SUMMARY
This position requires an eye for creativity and an understanding of how to effectively communicate to various personas across an omni-channel environment. Previous experience or internships in marketing, media, or content creation as well as a degree in a related field is desired.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and implement content for our social media channels (TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Pinterest) and ongoing email communications based on our social content calendar
Work with celebrity groomers and well-known pet product brands to create unique material for Groomer's Choice digital platforms
Draft fun and educational articles & video for our upcoming website blog
Assist the marketing team in creating and implementing a new podcast series
Create content for weekly customer promotional emails (The Weekly Bark) and monthly informational customer emails (Barkmail)
Help track digital content success through regular reports
Provide audits and recommendations for improvement on all digital channels (social, website, email, etc.)
Monitor reviews and ratings online and respond to them in a courteous and timely manner
Work with the Customer Service Team in making sure all inquiries online are answered in a timely manner
Work in conjunction with the Marketing Manager to make sure our customer experience is top notch in the digital world
Assist with online webinar and live-stream events throughout the year
Collaborate cross-functionally to create effective sales content
Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS
BA/BS in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or Public Relations preferred
1-3 years working in marketing role, either within a company or at an agency, but will train the right candidate
Experience in Facebook Business Manager, Hootsuite, and other social media tools and platforms
Experience in the Adobe Creative Suite a plus (Premiere Pro, Audition, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.)
Comfortable with video and audio production
Strong writer with the ability to speak effectively to customer personas while keeping to the brand voice and tone
Knowledge of marketing automation tools and website CMS
Customer service background a plus
