The Marketing Content Creator provides support in the implementation of marketing and communication strategies and efforts in order to advance the Y's mission.

This is a full-time position averaging 40 hours weekly. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.

The Marketing Content Creator provides support in the implementation of marketing and communication strategies and efforts in order to advance the Y's mission.
Responsibilities:
- Implements marketing and communicate strategies for various campaigns and initiatives, working with all necessary branch staff throughout the association.
- Monitors Marketing and Communication campaign and/or project budgets in order to meet or exceed expectations.
- Serves as one of the Association's Branch Ambassadors.
- Maintains foundational systems within the areas of marketing and communication, including but not limited to social media, facility, direct, advertising, digital marketing, and internal communications.
- Creates various components of marketing campaigns, e.g. print collateral, web content, and assures deliverables produced in a timely manner.
- Serves as a resource for staff in order to keep them connected and motivated to promote the Y's cause and services. Schedules and produces materials for branch marketing requests.
- Assist in coordination of annual donor, volunteer, staff, membership and community events.
- Assist with oversight of marketing and Communication volunteers, specifically helping them manage day-to-day projects from branch staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- One or more years of experience in a marketing/communications-related field.
- Demonstrated success in project management.
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience in social media platforms and CMS programs.
- Background must include experience in writing copy and other communication pieces.
- Must be able to engage others in conversations and make all people feel welcome.
