Position: Head of Marketing + Blue Canoe Franchisee
Blue Canoe is on the hunt for a Head of Marketing, offering a full-time, remote opportunity to be an integral part of our dynamic and evolving team. This role is designed for those who are passionate about diving deep into marketing strategies and executing them in the hopes of increasing our userbase and increasing revenue. As a startup, we value versatility and the ability to wear multiple hats, making this position ideal for individuals eager to engage in the multifaceted world of tech innovation.
We also hope to hire someone with a keen eye to specific international markets where English is a common second language, in which professionals and students want to improve their spoken English: think Canada, Australia, the Philippines, various Arab Gulf states, etc.
Primary Responsibilities
Marketing Focus:
- Develop and execute innovative marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to inform marketing approaches and product development.
- Collaborate with product management and creative teams to create compelling content and campaigns.
- Utilize digital marketing tools and platforms to reach target audiences effectively.
- Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed to meet objectives.
Franchisee:
- If you believe that you have a unique ability to sell Blue Canoe in a different country, develop a specific strategy to do so and take a cut of all revenue from that country. See it grow as you build an instantiation of our business abroad.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Strong foundation in marketing principles and strategies, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new trends.
- Exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects with varying deadlines.
- Analytical abilities to interpret market data and measure campaign effectiveness.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, facilitating effective collaboration across teams.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and software, with a knack for quickly learning new technologies.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to manage shifting priorities and unexpected challenges.
Salary and Benefits
- Annual Salary: $40,000 for Marketing Associate.
- Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, and more.
- Work Model: Fully remote. Ideally living in the states of Washington or Georgia. If you solely want to be a franchisee, you can live anywhere.
