Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Marketing Assistant (15-20 hours per week). Based in Emeryville, this role involves providing comprehensive marketing support to our Business Development Director.
Wilson Ihrig offers a complete range of professional services associated with acoustics, noise, and vibration control. Typical project work areas include transportation systems, architectural and building acoustics, industrial noise control, HVAC and mechanical equipment, community and environmental acoustics, and construction noise and vibration monitoring. Wilson Ihrig has been based in the San Francisco Bay Area since its founding in 1966 and has branch (or satellite) offices in New York, Los Angeles, and Seattle. During the first few weeks of training, the Marketing Assistant will need to spend their work time in the office, but remote work is an option after the initial training.
Responsibilities:
- Input data into the firm’s Unanet CRM database and run reports.
- Help maintain mailing lists
- Input opportunity form information
- Organize and coordinate activities involved in the preparation of marketing proposals and qualifications materials
- Event coordination as it relates to marketing functions
- Update marketing brochures and in-house resource materials
- Assist engineering/technical staff on required tasks in a professional and timely manner. This could include working with graphics preparation and stylized reports in MS Word, as well as support for travel arrangements and event registration
- Special projects as requested
Qualifications:
- Minimum two (2) years of working in a professional setting, preferably in the A/E/C industry
- Two-year degree is required; four-year degree preferred
- Proven ability to mind details and to produce accurate, high-quality work
- Excellent command of the English language and solid proofreading skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines with a positive attitude, excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Acrobat, PhotoShop)
- Graphic skills a plus
- Experience with CRM software
- Works well independently or as a team member
