Established in 2016, the YLA brand continues to grow their customer base through social media and influencer-based marketing. Annual sales continue to exceed projections, with an impressive 5X YOY growth in 2022. YLA is looking for additional talented individuals to join this incredible journey!

YoungLA is looking for an ambitious and creative candidate to assist with ongoing marketing campaigns. You will play a crucial role in supporting our marketing efforts by understanding social media trends, collecting audience feedback, contributing innovative ideas for content creation, and conducting market research to understand the target audience and trends.

This work will be a critical factor for the smooth operation of YoungLA’s Marketing Department and the attainment of its goals, as well as for the long-term growth of the company.

Tasks

Performs any or all an assistant function including, but not limited to, the following:

• Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities.
• Support marketing executives in organizing various projects to drive growth and high engagement.
• Conduct market research and analyze consumer rating reports/questionnaires.
• Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings, etc.)
• Update spreadsheets, databases, and inventories with statistical, financial, and non-financial information.
• Assist in the organizing of promotional events or digital campaigns and attend them to facilitate their success.
• Develop innovative marketing/social media strategies to amplify our presence and build a stronger community.
• Monitor social media trends and conversations to identify opportunities for real-time engagement and viral content.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative marketing ideas.
• Support the development of email marketing campaigns.
• Assist in the creation and scheduling of social media content calendars.
• Stay updated on industry news and emerging marketing trends.
• Assist in the creation and execution of A/B testing for different marketing strategies.
• Explore and implement influencer collaboration, partnerships, and cross-promotional opportunities to expand.

Requirements

• Must have a passion for clothing, fitness, and lifestyle trends.
• Excellent copywriting and visual storytelling skills to create captivating content.
• Proven experience as a Marketing Assistant.
• Good understanding of office management and marketing principles
• Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.
• Knowledge of Social Media Strategies and Digital Platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, TikTok, YouTube, Google, etc.)
• Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software and online applications (CRM tools, Online analytics, Google Adwords etc.)
• Exquisite communication and people skills
• BS/BA Degree in Marketing, Business or relevant field is a strong advantage or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Working Conditions

• Work on-site Monday through Friday
• Overtime may be required during periods of heavy workloads and peak seasons.
