Duties of this Role
The Marketing Manager is responsible, under the Managements supervision, for contracting with new accounts, and management of client relations, this position also requires planning and executing of directives to achieve company goals. Updating and maintaining relevant social media presence throughout various platforms with relevant and planned organizational messages, etc. The Marketing Director must be self-motivated, organized, and professional. He/she must devote full and exclusive time and attention, and best efforts to meet or exceed organizational goals and objectives. Must have a history of demonstrable sound judgment and discretion on a consistent basis that equates to measurable results. Communication skills both written and verbal are required.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape, and prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data
- Support the Executive team in evaluating and establishing the marketing plan and strategy by assembling and analyzing sales forecasts, setting objectives, planning and organizing promotional presentations, and updating calendars
- Communicate campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables to the executive team, and provide instructions for use or promotion
- Maintain a directory and inventory of marketing assets and Sales support materials, ensuring all resources are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials as needed
- Continually seek and research new sources of prospective customer data, and provide recommendations to sales and marketing leadership
- Set sales goals for each month. Provide executive team with projections for sales. Provide the executive team with a list of prospective sales opportunities.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, business, advertising, or communications.
- Past work experience as a Marketing and/or sales coordinator or similar role
- Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
- Experience with Social Media ads.
- Experience with research using data analytics software
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficiency with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, IN Design) a plus.
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) tools
