Position Summary:
The Marketing and Communications Manager develops and implements the organization's internal and external communications strategy and tactics to drive engagement and awareness, supports various integrated marketing efforts for OrthoAlliance and partner practice needs, and assist with PR/Media, creative and campaigns crossovers. Develops and maintains on and offline content that attracts attention, generates interest via press releases, announcements, blogs, articles, and collaborates with our team to share appropriately. Implements tools to manage content calendar, newsletters, collaborate with vendors, collect and utilize metrics and to enhance traffic and engagement with efforts. Monitors output and needs throughout OrthoAlliance and our partner practices to report on impact and support. Leads communication projects that support and enhance the organization's brand and reputation. Assists team with managing relationships with external creative partners. Assists where can and needed with our outreach and marketing needs and also marketing efforts related to campaigns and projects.
Role will be based out of Cincinnati, with flexibility and a hybrid dynamic once onboarded – and onsite presence for required team meetings/reviews as requested or needed 1-3 times a week.
Develops and implements OrthoAlliance’s internal and external communications strategy for OrthoAlliance Partner Practices, along with teamwork for producing content.
Monitors media and public relations, acts on opportunities, and collaborates with team in regards to alignment with internal communications and also marketing campaigns.
Prepares media content to support our brands in alignment to overall content calendar, PR, and additional media led throughout other team members and practices
Supports various integrated MARKETING AND campaign efforts by producing content, proper reviews, quotes, performance metrics, and crossover opportunities with web, social media, and occasional outreach or events, and also sponsorships.
Manages and collaborates with external creative partner to develop PR and media updates, and calendars aligned with organization’s digital marketing strategies.
Adjusts to needs for PR/media, releases, comms and identifies opportunities and trends.
Responds to media requests, provides opportunities to amplify awareness of updates internally, engages proactively externally, and aware of any crisis management needs.
Assists with campaign items as needed with marketing for creative, ideas, calendar management, vendor follow-up’s, and events that we are participating in.
Engages and supports opportunities with our partnerships, events, and overall outreach.
Aware of budgetary items related to efforts and presents business cases when needed.
Assists marketing team as needed through teamwork across OA and practices with other duties as assigned, and support with various marketing campaigns, creative, and outreach as arises alongside our MARKETING AND outreach teams.

Education and/or Experience
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in marketing, advertising, business, or related field
3-5 plus years of experience developing and executing social media and influencer marketing communication strategies and campaigns, healthcare experience preferred
Experience working with and managing external creative partners and vendors
Understanding of MARKETING AND expertise with how to properly drive awareness and engagement across various marketing platforms and campaign initiatives
Physical Requirements
Physical requirements for the position include the ability to frequently hear and communicate orally, see up close and at a distance, read and comprehend, stand, sit, walk, reach, handle, and/or feel objects. Must be able to climb, pull, push and kneel. Maximum unassisted lift = 50 lbs. Average lift 25-50 lbs.
