About Royal Pets
Royal Pets Market, Resort & Veterinary Center is a multi-unit retailer in the Tampa Bay Area, with stores located in Carrollwood, Palm Harbor, St Petersburg, and Midtown. We are looking for Team Members with a true passion for pets.
Our mission is to be an advocate for every pet that walks through our doors. From our Nutritional Experts helping the pet parents pick out the correct pet food in our Market, our Pet Health & Safety Team Members taking care of the pets in our Resort, our Stylists offering therapeutic treatments and all the extra pampering to the pets and our Vet Teams in our state of the art veterinary center, keeping the pets healthy.
Market:
The Market of Royal Pets Market & Resort stores and is the first and last impression and point of contact for our customers. We train our Market Team Members to be product knowledge experts including deep dives on pet nutrition and services we offer to help educate and inform our customers on how they can improve the quality of their pet's life. As a Market Team Member, you will:
- Greeting customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise, and providing outstanding customer service.
- Provide exceptional hospitality and customer service by always treating pets and their parents with kindness and respect.
- Operating cash registers, managing financial transactions, and balancing drawers.
- Respond to customer queries promptly and effectively in person, via phone, and email.
- Strong communication, collaboration & problem-solving skills.
- Works well with others as a team
- Possess exceptional interpersonal skills to ensure customer service connection exceeds expectation
- Recognize customers' needs and help resolve any concerns.

Guest Services:
Description:The Guest Service Team Member is the heartbeat of Royal Pet s\Stores; they make both the pets and their parents feel welcome. As a Guest Service Team Member, you will:
- Greet the pets and their parents coming into the resort initiating “white glove” treatment
- Provide exceptional hospitality and customer service by always treating pets and their parents with kindness and respect.
- Check customers in and out of the hotel and for our other services.
- Scheduling appointments for hotel, vet, and grooming.
- Respond to customer queries promptly and effectively in person, via phone, and email.
- Strong communication, collaboration & problem-solving skills.
- Works well with others as a team
- Recognize customers' needs and help resolve any concerns.
- Troubleshoot any problems that present themselves.
- Answer all incoming calls, respond to voicemails and emails.
- Make boarding reservations; book grooming, training, and temperament test appointments. Schedule daycare reservations.
- Manage cash, check, and credit card transactions and reporting/reconciling
- Gets to know clients and their pet’s names on a regular basis
- Obtain all information related to a pet’s visit; ensure accuracy of all information. This includes client information as well as pet information. Input all information into resort computer systems.
- Have general knowledge of all services offered at site and be able to provide solutions to the clients needs.
- Obtain vaccination records from veterinary offices and input into the computer.
- Assists in managing waitlists on weekends/peak season/holidays and ensures that rooms are utilized to maximum capacity.
- Act as liaison between veterinarian and customer/emergency contact, keeping all parties informed of ongoing problems when necessary.
- Ensure the facility meets or exceeds expectations with regards to cleanliness and safety.
- Ensure all common areas (lobby and employee spaces) are well maintained, clean and free from hazards ie: wet floors, defecant, etc.
- Consult with other departments in a professional manner

As a retail and service-related business, we are open 7 days a week and look for open availability that includes weekends & holidays.
