Job Description:
The Marketing Manager role is a highly visible position within the organization that offers multiple opportunities to directly impact our growing business. The ideal candidate will have a strong traditional marketing and analytical background yet be willing to execute both strategic and tactical solutions as our company evolves over time. Position of Marketing Manager builds awareness by developing and executing on marketing strategies to meet consumer needs — and maximize profitability/exposure for every shop location.
Key Job Responsibilities
Lead development of comprehensive marketing media plans that will effectively and efficiently drive growth in sales and services within auto collision and glass repairs
Monitor and enforce brand usage guidelines and apply project management practices in support of the business’s established brand image and brand promise
Oversee the creation and execution of promotional campaigns specific to the needs of each project and in support of the brand. Manage advertising, sports sponsorships, and promotional programs to support Boyd brands and services
Liaison between media agency and vendors/media partners
Guide creative process to ensure proper and consistent communication of the brand’s identity
Manage multiple budgets and assist with budgetary requests, analysis and reporting as needed (i.e. monthly and quarterly)
Create and maintain project budgets and timelines as required for each project and project phase
Direct project specific analyses and translate the findings into actionable strategies
Negotiate annual and multi-year sponsorships and events. (e.g. Analyzing best ROI and leveraging partnerships to gain additional media support to support campaigns.)
Active participant and member of the Boyd Group Marketing Team; attends and contributes to regular team meetings and events
Education and/or Experience Required
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or advertising preferred
5+ Years of experience in marketing; preferably on the client/business side (vs. agency)
Demonstrate Proficiency with planning and executing marketing campaigns and promotions including traditional media (radio/billboards) and digital marketing
Required Skills and Abilities
In-depth knowledge of various promotional marketing tactics, tools and techniques
Ability to lead and manage multi-disciplinary projects over multiple markets
Excellent written and verbal and communication skills
Other Requirements
Strong analytical skills to interpret Marketing Analytics data
Quarterly Travel
Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint/Word skills; Experience with Google platforms (Sheets/Slides/Docs) a plus
