The Market Development Manager, Propane Miser is a strategic member of the Pumps & Compressors Business Line responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive profitable sales growth of Propane Miser and related products.
Primary Responsibilities:
Promote and sell Propane Miser and similar compressor packages to targeted customers
Identify optimal target market segments ; develop an opportunity funnel and account plans
Execute sales activity: prospect for new accounts, secure appointments, determine customer needs, deliver sales presentations, negotiate pricing, overcome objections, and close sales
Produce new account revenue in line with current organization and individual targets/quotas
Refine product value proposition and communicate this to AFS and distributor sales teams; partner with marketing to develop compelling product messaging and promotional strategies
Partner with cross-functional teams to define go-to-market strategy and buyer journey based on research about customer preferences and buying habits
Partner with cross-functional teams to inform development of new products and technologies and/or needed product changes based on customer needs and wants
Participate in market and industry events
Qualifications:
B.S. Marketing, B.S. Engineering, and/or MBA
7 or more years sales or cross-functional team building experience with B2B Industrial Products
Experience in Liquid Propane Gas or Refined Fuels industries
Experience with compressor products preferred
Experience with sales funnels and strategic selling methods preferred
Travel:
Up to 60% overnight travel (mostly in North America)

Total Rewards
The compensation range for this position is $114,500.00 - $171,700.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
