Job Description
Knowledge of Oncology and/or Alzheimer's disease preferred. Develops and implements Market Access and Account Management training programs for Neurology and Oncology Sales Teams and/or Sales Leadership. Establishes objectives for, and creates, develops, and administers, in whole or in part, Market Access training programs incorporating the Customer Engagement Learning Journey and foundational principles to sales techniques and presentations, product and product applications information, group referencing, and role play. Provides cross-functional partnership and collaboration with the CT&D Disease State and Product Training team to provide Market Access and Account Management training support based upon Brand Strategy. May work closely with Product Training Managers, Brand Marketing, and the Value & Access Market Access Stakeholders to develop Market Access and Account Management strategies and to incorporate into training programs.
Job Summary
The Market Accessand Account Management Training Manager is responsible for strategically aligning training strategies and content to support Eisai organizational goals. Effective execution in this role will have a measurable impact on the organization by enhancing the capabilities of the Sales Force through improved Market Access and Account Management skills. He/She serves as the lead point-person and training Subject Matter Expert with Key Stakeholders (i.e., Product Training Managers, Brand Marketing, Sales Leaders, and the Value & Access Market Access). Serves as Training Lead/Liaison supporting Sales Leadership for Market Access and Account Management initiatives and managing training initiatives related to POAs and National Meetings.
Essential Functions
The Market Accessand Account Management Training Manager will be responsible for training and development for Market Access and Account Management content for Sales teams in Oncology and Neurology. Leading without authority and cross-functional collaboration is essential. Partner with Key Stakeholders to develop and maintain any Market Access and Account Management needs to support product and brand related sales training tools, workshops, and classroom presentations to ensure they are current and meet the needs of all stakeholders. Develop continuous learning tools, e-learning, Advanced Training and Experiential training as well as assessment programs to support all Market Access and Account Management training programs and that are aligned to a brand and stakeholder needs. Responsible for managing the development, implementation, facilitation, and evaluation of such programs. Ensure projects and materials are evaluated against and meet good training and adult learning principles and ensure all projects and materials have been through the correct CRC review process before being delivered to field sales forces. Participates and advises as needed to support any Brand or Value & Access strategies meetings to consult on the development of appropriate training content and tools that meet the needs of the Sales Develop training tools, workshops, presentations for all Brand and Value & Access initiatives and for all Product Launches, POA and National Meetings. Take the lead and facilitate training as needed, including "Train-the-Trainer" programs when rolling out assigned Market Access and Account Management training programs and materials to field sales management teams at pre-POA meetings and support as required field POA meetings. Vendor Management, Veeva Vault and CRC submission processes are a must. Vendor Management inclusive of capability reviews, evaluation, and selection of vendors for capabilities appropriate to the development of materials to meet the needs of Market Access and Account Management learning and understanding of Brand Marketing and Value & Access initiatives is important. Develop project plans, meet project goals and to optimize timing and budgetary requirements. Requires interaction with Key Stakeholders, Sales Leadership, Training Department, CRC Teams, Brand Marketing and Value & Access on daily, weekly basis or as needed basis. Supporting any special projects and other Departmental support for training projects and other Training Department initiatives, to include Senior Management Special Projects, Corporate Task Forces, Large Cross Functional Training Projects (e.g., Product Launches, New Hire Classes, Home Office Training, etc.) or other training initiatives deemed necessary that are brought forward. Requirement of demonstration Eisai Values of flexibility and teamwork. Demonstrates and maintains Market Access and Accountment Management knowledge to stay current on trends and innovations to ensure the proper creation of training materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a life science field or adult learning.
- 8+ years of Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry experience; preferably a proven record of accomplishment of successful Sales, Training, Market Access, and Account Management experience.
- 3+ years of understanding of Account Management within the Pharmaceutical/Biotech Industry
- 3+ years of thorough understanding of Market Access (i.e., Medicare FFS, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, Commercial Payer Landscape, Access & Reimbursement, Quality Measures, etc.
- 2+ years of experience with content development
- 2+ years of CRC Review and submission experience
- 2+ years of strong understanding of adult learning principles, including virtual training design and delivery. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to interface effectively with various cross-functional groups.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills for new hire training, large group presentations at regional and national meetings
- 2+ years of demonstration of strong project management skills such as scheduling, planning, and prioritizing several diverse activities, initiatives, and projects for Key Stakeholders, groups, or other internal departments.
- Must have demonstrated the development of new and creative solutions to a variety of challenging problems.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT) Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Teams, and as needed Zoom
- Must possess the skills and ability to assimilate information to create workshop designs.
- Travel up to 30% of the time.
