We are dedicated to hiring the most well-qualified people to join our team. We are currently seeking a Marine Systems Technician. We are an authorized Marine Dealer for Volvo Penta and Fischer Panda.
Job Summary:
Grand Banks Yachts Services Marine Systems Technician must be familiar with Marine Systems including Marine Pumps, Valves, Chargers, Inverters, Electronics, Trim Tabs, Fresh Water Systems, Waste Systems and Air Conditioning. Applicants should have troubleshooting and diagnostic experience as well as service and repair expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance and repair of marine equipment on vessels.
- Diagnose mechanical system problems and determine necessary repairs.
- Perform repairs on vessel plumbing systems including fresh, grey and black water systems and raw water systems.
- Perform work on steering systems, hydraulic systems and cylinders.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of marine air conditioning a plus.
Knowledge of marine air conditioning a plus.
- Knowledge of AC and DC wiring on vessels a plus.
- Knowledge of using the appropriate tools and equipment to complete the required tasks safely and efficiently.
Requirements:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills in Marine Systems and components.
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner with customers and staff.
- Outstanding customer service and a passion for the marine industry.
- Friendly, approachable personality.
- Must maintain a professional appearance at all times.

- Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to maneuver and fit in confined spaces as needed.
- Ability to work in an upright standing position for long periods of time.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have valid driver's license.

Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 8 hour shift
- Overtime as needed
- Weekends as needed rarely
