Job Description
ERP Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, and administration of the Acumatica Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. They will work closely with various business units, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure the smooth functioning of the ERP system and its alignment with the organization's business objectives. The role involves troubleshooting, system monitoring, user training, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the ERP system's performance and enhance overall business efficiency.

ERP System Administration:
- Manage and administer the Acumatica ERP system, including user access, security settings, and data integrity.
- Perform system configuration, parameter setup, and manage integration with other business applications.
- Monitor system performance and resource utilization, identifying and addressing any bottlenecks or issues promptly.
Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
- Investigate and diagnose technical issues, system errors, and data discrepancies reported by end-users or identified through system monitoring.
- Collaborate with the IT team and external vendors to resolve complex technical problems efficiently.
- Implement fixes, patches, and updates to address identified issues and maintain system stability.
User Training and Support:
- Conduct training sessions and create user guides to educate end-users on the effective use of the Acumatica ERP system.
- Provide ongoing support to users, responding to queries, and addressing issues related to system functionality and navigation.
- Promote best practices to optimize user adoption and proficiency.
System Customization and Enhancements:
- Gather and document business requirements from different departments to customize the ERP system as needed.
- Work with development teams or external consultants to design, test, and implement customizations and system enhancements.
- Ensure that customizations align with the organization's security and compliance standards.
System Upgrades and Maintenance:
- Plan and coordinate system upgrades, new feature rollouts, and enhancements in collaboration with the IT team and external vendors.
- Conduct testing and validation of upgrades to ensure compatibility with existing configurations and customizations.
- Monitor vendor release notes and updates to stay informed about the latest features and fixes.
Data Management and Reporting:
- Assist in data extraction, analysis, and reporting from the Acumatica ERP system to support business decision-making.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity, working with data owners to resolve data quality issues.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to optimize business processes and system workflows using the Acumatica ERP system.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to implement process improvements, automation, and efficiency enhancements.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and business processes across different functional areas (e.g., finance, sales, inventory management).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with end-users, stakeholders, and vendors effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience in system customization, integration, and data management is a plus.
- Relevant certifications in Acumatica or ERP systems will be advantageous.
Working conditions
