Marine Mammal Watch Section Supervisor

Responsibilities

We are hiring a Marine MammalSection Supervisor in Kings Bay, GA and Silverdale, WA.

 

What you'll do:

 

Perform supervision of training & operations staff supporting the Navy Marine Mammal Program (NMMP)

• Supervise all aspects of 24/7 operations in support of force protection systems and diving operations
• Supervise Marine Mammal training
• Personnel must be able to work flexible work hours (shift work) including weekends and holidays.
• A requirement for this position includes the ability to travel with animals for extended periods of time anywhere in the world, to include potentially harsh environmental and high-risk locations, within 72

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

 

• Required Education, Experience and Clearance to obtain:
• Bachelor's dgree in any field or 6 years' experience supporting the NMMP
• Two years' experience as a Marine Mammal assistant
• One year of experience as a Marine Mammal Watch Section Supervisor and/or watch stander
• Dive supervisor experience
• Clearance requirements:  Must be able to obtain a secret level security clearance 

Target Salary Range$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.Employment Type: FULL_TIME
