Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Insulators for projects located in Newport News, VA . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $40/hour based on experience and skill level plus $120/per diem for travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:
Applying molded pipe sections to various steam pipe systems
Working with main steam auxiliary steam
Applying tempmat and black insulation to components such as; turbines and pumps
Requirements
Minimum of 20+ years of experience in the field
Must be able to install, remove and repair molded insulation which includes; calcium, silicate, tempmat and finishing cement to various size piping systems
High quality workmanship is required
Must be able to cut proper miters, apply fiberglass cloth over sections smoothly and without excessive glue being trapped
