The Marine Corps Systems Command ( MARCORSYSCOM) Human Capital Management Team (HCM) is responsible for Marine Corps' ability to enhance the quality, performance, and professionalism of the workforce. HCM accomplishes this by managing the personnel systems that retain, recognize, and reward employees for their contributions, which supports the individual employee's personal and professional growth.
We are seeking a candidate to support HCM's Awards team with the following
tasks:
· Assists in the planning, development, and execution of a variety of human capital programs including creating awards.
· Enters and maintains programmatic and personnel data and information in various automated systems, to include CAS2Net.
· Serves as the data administrator for Marine Corps Systems Command to ensure that data is accurate and updated to meet the command's objectives under the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Demonstration Project (AcqDemo).
· Maintains, updates, and submits pay pool administrator data and documentation for use during pay pool sessions while conducting performance evaluations that could lead to an increase in pay and incentives.
· Researches, locates, organizes, summarizes, and interprets data and information to address human capital program issues.
· Prepares written materials on human capital management concerns, including reports or other working documents.
· Maintains employee records for Marine Corps System Command, performs monthly data analysis, and partners with management to analyze performance, develop programs for under-performing employees, and resolve conflicts.
· Conducts substantive research and provides information to senior managers, line managers, and supervisors participating in human capital activities, thereby influencing decisions and actions involving established programs and projects.
· Expresses ideas to individuals and groups effectively; making clear and convincing oral or written presentations.
· Utilizes manuals and language guides, precedents, discussion with others, technical glossaries, current guidelines and policies, existing agency files, federal policy, guidelines, and procedures to write and edit documents.
Skills:

- Ability to research and obtain information independently.
- Highly skilled in Excel, Word, and other word processing software programs.
Experience/ Education:
- At least 3 years of related experience.
- Proficiency in writing and editing.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related subject area such as business is preferred, but not necessary.
Compensation and Benefits
