Job Summary:
In this role you will manage manufacturing systems, assist with the production of electronic devices, and ensure they meet established standards and customer requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement process improvements that enhance the quality, reliability, and efficiency of circuit board production
- Analyze electrical drawings for polarity, placement, and adherence to industry standards, ensuring precise component placements and connectivity
- Ensure appropriate sourcing and compatibility through a comprehensive knowledge of electronic components, their specifications, and their applications
- Thoroughly review and validate Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compatibility with the manufacturing process
- Develop and optimize Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) programs to facilitate accurate and efficient assembly processes
- Stay up to date with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in circuit board manufacturing to continually enhance production processes
- Identify, analyze, and resolve defects during assembly and testing phases, utilizing your deep understanding of circuit boards
- Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure that the assembled circuit boards meet established standards and customer requirements
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of assembly processes, programming parameters, and defect resolutions
- Inspect, analyze, troubleshoot systems and equipment in order to source replacement parts and fix faulty equipment
- Follow all Quality System procedures and work instructions
Required Skills and Abilities:
Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Proficiency in industry standard software and tools for circuit board design, programming, and defect analysis
Deep understanding of electronic components, their functions, and their interactions within circuit boards
Excellent electronics troubleshooting skills and strong attention to detail
Experience in root cause analysis
Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and processes in electronics manufacturing
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Experience in circuit board manufacturing, SMT/AOI programming, electrical drawings review and BOM validation
- Bachelor in Electronics Engineering or Computer Science preferred
- IPC-A-610 training preferred. Required upon hire.
- Experience with ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 (or similar) quality systems preferred
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting or standing
20/20 vision (with or without corrective lenses)
Ability to differentiate among colors

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
