Manufacturing Team Member

Job Description:

Hawkins Glass is looking to hire multiple candidates for a Manufacturing Team Member position. The ideal candidate will perform a wide range of duties in an industrial manufacturing environment. The technicians work in an assembly line style, performing specific tasks or a set of predetermined duties either alone or as part of a team. This position includes manual production using hand tools, visual inspection, physical measurements, packaging finished product, and the ability to do physical labor as needed to lift the product.

Job Duties:

• Prepare work each day by studying assembly instructions, drawing specifications, and parts lists: gathering parts, sub-assemblies, tools, and materials.
• Employee is responsible for attaching or affixing pre-manufactured components and parts.
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Responsible for following the procedures to conform to the QMS requirements, completing documents and records as required by the QMS, and minimizing risk to the product, process, and documents.
• Hold customer satisfaction and quality metrics in the highest regard.
• Contribute to a team effort by accomplishing related tasks (cleanup/station set-up, etc.) as needed.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by understanding and complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Flexibility to adjust to changing daily tasks or procedures.

Requirements:

• Ability to work independently with limited direction.
• Dependable and detail oriented.
• Physical endurance sufficient to complete a physically demanding workday of 8-10 hours in various climatic conditions.
• Mental endurance to maintain appropriate quality and production standards (often repetitive) for typical 8-10-hour days.
• Able to read and write English use tape measure, follow detailed instructions.

Benefits: Typically, a 4-day work week, with some Fridays as overtime as needed. Flexible work schedule is available. Accrued vacation and sick paid leave.

Job Type: Full-time.

Salary: $16-20/hour based on experience.

Schedule:

• 5am – 3pm Mon-Thurs
• 4x10
• Overtime
