Manufacturing Supervisor

This position is a salary role. 70k-85k per year depending on the shift!

The Manufacturing Supervisor will be entrusted with the comprehensive oversight and leadership of a specific manufacturing area.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions):

Ensure strict adherence to safety rules and regulations within the team.

Uphold impeccable standards of cleanliness and orderliness in work areas.

Vigilantly maintain and enhance quality standards, actively managing team performance.

Coordinate thorough training programs for team members and foster collaboration with other teams for seamless plant operations.

Implement continuous improvement initiatives to measure and enhance team performance in all areas.

Efficiently schedule and coordinate team resources, encompassing manpower and machinery.

Maintain optimal levels of supplies, both direct and indirect, to support operational needs.

Oversee the maintenance of team facilities and equipment, ensuring their operational integrity.

Supervise timely and accurate computer transactions.

Develop and maintain staffing and succession plans to ensure organizational continuity.

Establish, monitor, and adhere to the team budget.

Actively contribute to divisional capital projects and strategic plans.

Formulate and execute a comprehensive team operational plan.

Demonstrate mastery of technical skills within the assigned responsibility.

Deliver key metrics as defined for each reporting period.

Experience & Education:

Two years of supervisory experience.

Exposure to MRP/ERP systems is advantageous.

Key Competencies:

Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Exceptional report-writing skills for business correspondence.

Effective presentation abilities with the capability to respond to inquiries from individuals at all organizational levels, including customers, suppliers, peers, and staff.

Application of fundamental mathematical concepts.
