SalarySUMMARY
This position will perform the day to day activities of maintaining production equipment spare parts inventory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Put away stock which is received from the shipping/receiving clerk.
- Make labels and tag all items located in the spare parts cage.
- Responsible for signing parts in and out of the spare parts cage and updating the transactions in Oracle
- Retrieve and supply spare parts as requested.
- Assign locations to new stock and log into oracle
- Return to stock parts previously signed out.
- Enter repaired parts in log and send out for repair.
- Maintenance on location tags and general up keep, 5/S, and recycle activities
- Stock satelite locations as required with manufacturing materials.
- Responsible for sourcing new vendors.
- Responsible for ordering spare parts and replacement parts based on monthly and yearly budget activity.
- Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
- Will perform other reasonably related tasks within the Company as required by the Supervisor or Management.
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- MUST be 18 years of age or older to apply.
- Electronics assembly experience is a plus.
- Experience with spare parts ordering and inventory management.
- Experience with equipment maintenance and repair (mechanical and electrical).
- High School degree or GED equivalent.
