Summary
The Process Operations Manager supports the Sr Process Operations Manager in developing and implementing operational excellence across all sites. This role involves providing subject matter expertise to optimize Manufacturing Processes and support Process Improvement projects within the Production Engineering team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with plant operations to identify and resolve bottlenecks in the Manufacturing Process.
- Foster a culture aligned with ODS values and strategy, acting as a role model in all activities.
- Provide strategic input and act as a trusted advisor to business decisions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on relevant policies and processes, offering recommendations to senior leaders.
- Support day-to-day operational processes, program management, and administrative tasks to achieve business results.
- Develop operational solutions based on an understanding of business strategy and stakeholder needs.
- Participate in the design, implementation, and management of core processes, providing insights and recommendations to plant leadership.
- Ensure all systems operate smoothly and comply with quality standards.
- Coach, develop, and mentor site leadership teams.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Expertise in project management, verbal and written communication, analytical and problem-solving, and influence skills.
- Strong collaboration skills with a focus on cross-group collaboration.
- Lean/Six Sigma background and understanding.

Must be able to perform the essential job duties. Work may be performed in an office or warehouse environment. Typically requires the ability to spend 66%+ of time each work day doing the following activities: stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend, stoop, or climb. May have possible exposure to dust, and may require the ability to lift and/or push up to 50 pounds 33% - 66% of the time.
