Job Summary:
The candidate will serve as an Electronics Process Engineer responsible for developing electronic manufacturing procedures and supporting new product introduction by programming equipment and managing maintenance programs. They will also be involved in designing production tooling and improving Manufacturing Processes.
"This person will help make plans on how to build electronic things better and faster. They will also fix machines that are used to put together parts of things like TVs or phones."
Duties:
- Creating and defining Electronic Manufacturing procedures and processes in accordance with all applicable regulatory and workmanship requirements.
- Supporting New Product Introduction with Design Engineering and Customers
- Performing Equipment Programming, Manage Preventative and Corrective Maintenance Programs
- Design and coordination of production tooling and process development
- Creating and updating Operator Process Documentation including Training
- Problem resolution and continuous improvement activities
Skills:
- Electronics or Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent Electronics Manufacturing Experience
- Working knowledge of Electronic Process Development and Programming
- At least three years in Electronics Manufacturing or Design
- The ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, technical instructions, time studies, Bills of Material and Quality standards
- Experience or familiarity with SMT, Selective Soldering, Wave Soldering, Coating and Mechanical/Box Build assembly processes
- This is all Printed Circuit Board work!! Must have PCB experience!!
