Job Opportunity: Manufacturing Process Technician

Location: Hampton, Iowa

Salary: $55-65K

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Process Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing manufacturing operations, reducing waste, and ensuring products meet stringent quality and safety standards.

Job Responsibilities:

- Develop and refine standard operational practices to streamline Manufacturing Processes.

- Analyze production and operating reports to troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges, minimizing costs and preventing delays.

- Review technical documents like blueprints and specifications for accuracy and completeness.

- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost-effectiveness of manufacturing operations.

- Collaborate with planning and design teams to optimize product design and tooling for efficient production.

- Engage with management, engineering, and other stakeholders to coordinate production schedules and address manufacturing considerations.

- Utilize data analysis tools to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and safety risks in current Manufacturing Processes.

- Design and implement optimized Manufacturing Processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and uphold product quality.

- Drive strategies for ongoing process improvement, incorporating new technologies and methodologies.

- Provide training to manufacturing personnel on new processes and safety protocols.

- Maintain comprehensive documentation of Manufacturing Processes, including SOPs, work instructions, and process manuals.

Education & Experience:

- Comprehensive knowledge of engineering principles, methods, and manufacturing equipment.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with experience in personal computer use.

- Preferred familiarity with ERP/MRP applications.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and improve complex Manufacturing Processes.
