Form of workWorks with Maintenance Supervisor, Production Supervisors, Process Engineer and Plant Manager to improve the production facilities, reduce the incidence of costly breakdowns, and develop/implement strategies to improve overall reliability, efficiency and safety of plant, personnel, equipment and production processes.
Initiates Capex projects and manages through to completion. Fills in for the Plant Manager in their absence.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
• Capex Management
• Project Management (using Six Sigma, DOE, WIG, etc.)
• Backup Supervisory Role to Production Supervisors and the Plant Manager
• Maintenance Support/Backup Supervisory Role to Maintenance Supervisor – Etime Entry, Contractor Work Order entry
• Site-Coordinator – Process Controls (Wonderware and Ignition)
• MPulse (Site Co-Coordinator)
• OEE Improvement
• Operations and Process Improvement, Scrap Reduction, Efficiency Improvement
• Contractor Coordination - Purchase orders, scheduling and supervision
• Cost Avoidance and Cost Reduction
• Process Engineering Responsibility for 2nd Ops and Fluorosint
