Job Title: Manufacturing OperatorDEPARTMENT: 14 Line 3

Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts SALARY: $19.57 (Full-Time)

Supervisor: Shift Supervisor STATUS: Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt

POSITION SCOPE

The Manufacturing Operator will be primarily responsible for safely operating equipment, patrolling production line operating areas, inspecting product to ensure manufacturing and product standards are met. To utilize skills presented through training techniques and apply skills as required to produce TCA products.

JOB DUTIES

Manufacturing Operator must be able to obtain knowledge of how to safely and efficiently operate all line equipment of the production lines. Climbing stairs, lifting 10 lbs. rolls.

OPF line responsibilities include:

• Maintain all paperwork.
• Read and write military time.
• Detail paperwork and calculation
• Monitor the precursor exiting the baskets.
• Monitor from last basket running to the exit of the holdback.
• Bake feeds and tails.
• Splice new baskets into the line.
• Monitor for wraps, defects, and band width.
• Maintain a good split and keep proper basket alignment
• Spread all box splices and double band splices entering the process.
• Maintain good communication with all other Associates.
• Maintain good communication with incoming and outgoing shifts.
• Identify and report equipment problems.
• Sign all tools used in and out from the shadow board.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
• Excellent math and computer skills
• Ability to read military time.
• Other tasks assigned by supervisor.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent

Must be able to lift 20 lbs. routinely, have adequate manual dexterity, be able to walk and stand for up to two continuous hours on concrete floor.

Working shift hours are 12 hours. The production lines 3 operate 12-hour rotating shifts. Shift hours will be adjusted depending on production requirements.
