Job Description
Operator: Hourly
3rd Shift: Tuesday-Saturday, 12am-8am
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
- Operate equipment as needed for production requirements as assigned by supervisor.
- Ability to follow written work instructions.
- Able to stand or sit to operate equipment.
- Able to use hands & fingers to load, gage, inspect, and manipulate parts.
- Able to visually see & detect flaws or inconsistencies in parts & make decisions based on instruction.
- Must properly report, segregate and identify parts/products that are non-conforming.
- Good hand to eye coordination.
- Keep and maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
- Record work on a daily production report in a clear and accurate manner.
- Physical ability to do assigned work; such as, moving parts, loading and unloading.
- Notify Supervisor of any irregularities in production or equipment.
- Assist in other work areas as assigned by supervisor.
Tools and Equipment
Regular tools and gloves will be issued or furnished by the Company as needed by employee.
Must wear PPE (personal protective equipment at all times).
Safety
Employee must follow safety rules and safe practices.
Employee must report any unsafe acts, accidents or safety hazards to Supervisor or Safety Committee member.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Must be able to read, write, add, subtract, multiply, divide & follow instructions. One to three months related experience and/or training, a plus.
Language Skills - Must be able to speak and understand English.
Mathematical Skills - Basic math skills (addition/subtraction/multiplication/division).
