Work Schedule

Monday – Friday (8-hour shifts) Overtime and weekends during peak season.

• 2nd shifts start times are offered between 1:30pm – 2:30pm

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Participate/support the RMP (Risk Management Process) and assist in the development of the system and operational standards and corrective actions.
• Install and maintain all plant manufacturing and packaging machinery and equipment to eliminate downtime and achieve maximum production efficiencies.
• Perform preventative maintenance checks and repairs including welding and rebuilding/overhaul equipment.
• Record daily maintenance activities- PM’s- and work orders.
• Install or repair facilities lights- wiring- machinery motors- electrical panels- breakers- airlines- water lines- or gas lines.
• Relocate existing lights- plumbing- or electrical lines.
• Training and Safety – Lead all aspects of safety processes including- but not limited to- goal setting- hazard recognition- and elimination- administration of safety procedures and corresponding corrective action- area inspection- job skills- and compliance training- accident investigation and safety meetings.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to use a full range of precision measuring and gauging tools to perform inspection of equipment including hand tools and trade type tools
• Knowledge of AC/DC variable frequency drives- motor control- hydraulics- pneumatics- pipe fitting.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals- schematics and blueprints.
• Knowledge of electrical- plumbing and refrigeration.

Physical Requirements

This position is considered a manufacturing environment with heavy machinery and equipment. Please note, this role may require additional availability during peak season hours and/or holidays per the business needs.

Physical demands include but not limited to

Constant activity or conditions sustained 2/3 or more of working hours including pulling/scaling heights/accessing high objects, keyboard or text input, repetitive motion, occasionally exerting 20-50 lbs. of force, frequently 10-25 lbs., or any amount constantly.
