Manufacturing Excellence Waste Improvement Manager

This position requires an experienced Waste Improvement resource focused and dedicated to changing our current practices and processes for manufacturing that will reduce the overall pounds of material lost in meeting our production obligations. This associate will be successful by working through data mining and on-site analysis to actively work on maximizing the impact of improvement efforts to reach the best outcome in the shortest time.

• Focus on strategic and fundamental waste initiatives with the PPKUS business unit.
• Work collaboratively with Plant Managers, Plant Leadership Teams, and other company resources to drive positive results across all OKR's.
• Create and drive actionable efforts that have the highest impact - reducing waste and saving money.
• Associate must be results oriented with cross functional influence with multiple executives across multiple facilities.
• Associate must have the expertise and credibility to drive change: not only with current process and practices, but with attitudes and behaviors that lead to waste.
• While Plant Managers do not directly report to this position, they are responsible for engaging in actionable activities as agreed upon with this associate. This position also requires organizational connection across all functional groups and all levels.

Education: Degreed (preferably an individual with an engineering background, capable of performing the analysis necessary to make inferences and drive change)
Experience: 5-10 years of experience in flexible packaging (process/industry); previous experience as an operations leader preferred
