The Manufacturing Engineer intern will provide support to manufacturing for creating and refining manufacturing processes including generating work instructions, fixtures and selecting equipment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Create and improve work instructions to build electro-mechanical assemblies and communicate directly to assembly technicians.

• Provide feedback to design engineering on manufacturability of current and future designs.

• Work in cross functional teams including operations, quality, design engineering, and supply chain to reach common goals.

• Continuously improve the efficiency and yield of product.

• Select and design tooling and equipment for use in production with justification of cost and reliability.

Basic Qualifications:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

The salary range for this role is 52,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
