Your opportunity:
The Manufacturing Engineer optimizes factory costs, quality, and customer service through the conception, development, and implementation of new or improved manufacturing processes, automated equipment, tooling, material flow, plant layout and/or product design.
what you'll be doing:

  • Specify and justify basic capital expenditures.
  • Purchase and implement tooling including automated equipment to support daily operations.
  • Provide basic technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Recognize and recommend design and process changes to improve manufacturability.
  • Identify and implement improvements to material utilization, cell layout and machinery efficiency.
  • Provide summarized data to influence key management decisions relating to budgeting, staffing, and capacity planning.
  • Participate in Lean and safety initiatives.
  • Manage basic individual projects in accordance with predetermined completion dates.
  • Support production and manufacturing to optimize quality, productivity, on-time delivery, and operational efficiencies resulting in improved customer satisfaction.
  • Support production and manufacturing quality management system and policies.

What you should have:
  • 0-2 years of relevant work experience in robotic engineering.
  • 4 Year bachelor's degree in robotic engineering preferred.
  • Basic CAD skills strongly preferred.
  • SAP experience is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of Lean concepts preferred.
  • Experience with ABB & Fanuc Robot programming preferred.
  • Experience with Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) Programming, MiR preferred.
  • Basic understanding of Machine Safety
