Job Designation:

The Manufacturing Engineering Technician I plays a key role in setting up and conducting simple product evaluations, generating process documentation, and providing operational support. This position ensures the high-quality process development of the company products and components.

Job Core Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings, procedures, and process documents to assist Operations in their procedures.
• Support the Manufacturing Engineering department in executing development and product evaluation activities.
• Create product test plans, procedures, and reports with guidance.
• Assist in process validation test programs to ensure products/systems meet design specifications.
• Act as a resource for operations to explain drawing and process requirements.
• Support the equipment maintenance team with advanced diagnostics of equipment.
• Perform analysis and troubleshooting to determine the root causes of product and equipment failure
• Select and procure tooling and equipment using purchase requisitions and the approval for expenditure process.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
• Exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Assist with welding and brazing development and qualification.
• Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s), and additional hours as necessary

Education

• Combination of relevant education and work experience or degree in Engineering or equivalent that allows successful performance of job expectations.

Years Experience: 0 - 3 years of relevant experience.

Skills

• Ability to apply expertise in systematic discipline and analytical approach to problem-solving.
• Apply processes and procedures to accomplish tasks.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with raw material processing and assembly.
• Proficiency in email, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Effective interpersonal skills to drive tasks to completion.
• Effective oral and written communication.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
