To help us meet our mission, LOTTE Biologics is in need of a Manufacturing Engineer in ourTechnical Manufacturing department to support facility design, build out, start-up, qualification, and manufacturing processes for Antibody Drug Conjugates (ADCs) and other bioconjugate molecules. The ideal candidate will have experience with common downstream unit operations such as tangential flow filtration, dead-end filtration, protein chromatography, and conjugation reactions. This individual will work in a team-driven environment to support facility start-up and transition to GMP manufacturing. This role will be an individual contributor.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical input for the continued design and implementation of the facility, equipment, and automated systems.
- Manage and support start-up and commissioning activities (FAT/SAT/IQ/OQ/PQ) including the preparation of test protocols, test execution, troubleshooting, and change control, all per cGMP guidelines.
- As Manufacturing Engineer, you will support operational activities in Downstream of Antibody Drug Conjugate manufacturing, e.g., tech transfer support, material planning, document and batch record preparation, training and troubleshooting, deviation handling.
- Participate on interdisciplinary teams of production personnel, supervisors and specialists and be accountable for the performance and results of assigned projects.
- Guide and support activities for clinical and/or commercial manufacturing in one or more defined DSP areas, e.g., intermediate purification, polishing or drug substance filling.
- Ensure efficient operation of single-use equipment for the purification of therapeutic proteins for the manufacturing of Bioconjugates like Antibody Drug Conjugates (ADCs).

Education/Experience:
- BS or MS degree in Biotechnology, Bio-Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry or related Life Science subject. Chemical Engineering degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience as an engineer in the operation, design, construction and/or start-up of biopharmaceutical facilities (cGMP manufacturing plants, pilot plants, laboratories, etc.)
- Work experience with Antibody Drug Conjugates (ADCs) in the biotech/biopharma industry is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge and work experience of downstream processing techniques like chromatography and TFF.
