Position Summary and Responsibilities:
As a Manufacturing Cycle Counter, you will be a vital part of the manufacturing operations, ensuring accurate and timely inventory counts to support production processes. Your primary responsibility is to conduct cycle counts of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods, collaborating closely with production and inventory control teams to maintain an efficient manufacturing supply chain.
•    Perform routine cycle counts of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods within manufacturing areas.
•    Utilize inventory management systems and tools to conduct accurate counts based on predetermined schedules or as needed.
•    Ensure accuracy of location of inventory within the inventory system. 
•    Investigate and reconcile discrepancies between physical inventory counts and system records.
•    Collaborate with the production, inventory, shipping and receiving team, as well as other relevant departments, to identify the root causes of discrepancies.
•    Analyze cycle count data to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas for improvement in inventory accuracy.
•    Generate reports on cycle count results and share findings with the management team.
•    Work closely with the inventory control coordinator to address and correct discrepancies promptly.
•    Maintain accurate and organized records of cycle count activities, including counts performed, results, and any adjustments made.
•    Update inventory management systems with the latest count information.
•    Identify opportunities to enhance cycle counting processes and contribute to the development and implementation of improvements.
•    Collaborate with team members to share best practices and implement standardized procedures.
•    Report any abnormalities of inventory or production practices observed to the food safety manager. 
•    As production demand varies, this role is expected to have hour and day flexibility.
•    Perform other duties, as assigned.
•    Always follow the USDA, HACCP, SSOP, GM, food and employee safety policies, rules and regulations. 
•    Always follow OSHA and the Ben E. Keith employee safety policy, rules and regulations such as Lock Out Tag Out.
•    Wear required protective and food safety equipment at all times while in the production area.

As a Cycle Counter, you contribute to the overall efficiency of the organization by ensuring accurate and up-to-date inventory records, helping to minimize discrepancies and support effective decision-making in the supply chain.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
•    High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in inventory management is a plus.
•    Proven experience in cycle counting or a related inventory control role strongly desired but not required.
•    Familiarity with inventory management systems and proficiency in using relevant software.
•    Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting and data entry.
•    Analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends or discrepancies.
•    Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and other departments.
•    Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
•    Knowledge of safety regulations related to inventory management.
•    Able to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.   
•    Must have basic knowledge of meat.  
•    Familiarity with pallet jack, forklift, or other industrial vehicles.  
•    Excellent Communication Skills.  
•    Excellent teamwork skills.  
•    Self-Starter.   
•    Basic math knowledge.

Physical Requirements:
•    Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
•    Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
•    Must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 80 lbs.
•    Must be able to stand on your feet all day and work in a cold (0-40º) environment.
