Manufacturing Cleanroom Technician

Wage: $21.00/hr (1st and 2nd shift), $23.00/hr (3rd shift)

Location: Rensselaer, NY

Environment: Cleanroom

Shifts Available: 6am-4:30pm, 1pm-11:30pm and 10pm-8:30am

Weekends are required for any available shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Performs specialized cleaning in a Cleanroom Manufacturing environment per approved standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Documentation of performed tasks.
• Maintaining Cleanroom gowning inventory and supplies.
• Organizing delivery of gowning materials to the point of use within the cleanroom.
• Performing unit operations in a timely manner to meet production schedules.
• Must be able to wear additional gowning. (jumpsuit, hood, shoe covers, gloves, hairnet, and facemask)
• Maintain a quality of performance of all specific duties and responsibilities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills/Experience:

• Integrity and ability to work in a team environment and independently.
• Computer Literacy and Proficiency is required to complete trainings.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong Attention to Detail
• Exceptional Time Management and Organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workloads.
• Ability to retain any given instructions
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.

Physical Requirements:

        This is a physically demanding position that involves bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching, lifting (up to 50 pounds), and standing for long periods of time.
