Automation Personnel Services is currently hiring for a food manufacturing company in Knoxville, TN. We have multiple positions available, including Quality Technicians, Machine Operators, and Forklift Operators. These will all be temp to hire positions.
Pay rate
$14.00 - $16.00 per hour based on position
Shifts
2nd Shift: 4:00PM-2:30AM Monday – Thursday, Fridays sometimes required
3rd Shift: 8PM-6:30AM Monday – Thursday, Fridays sometimes required
Manufacturing Associates Duties and Responsibilities
• General machine operating and tending to conveyor belts
• Ensuring quality of products sent out meets quality standards
• Operating a forklift will be required for some positions
Manufacturing Associates Requirements and Qualifications
• Highschool diploma or GED
• 2+ years of machine operator/production experience required for machine operator positions
• Forklift experience will be required for all forklift positions
• Heavy lifting will be involved in most positions, so a lift test of 50 – 75 pounds will be required
• Must be able to start and stop equipment and complete changeovers
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
