What You’ll Do
- Administrate Costpoint Shop Floor Time timekeeping system to ensure accurate time and attendance information is captured and reconciled for compliance and analysis
- Participate in Compliance Audits regarding Information System controls within our suite of systems
- Maintain Power BI Reports & Models that provide actionable insights for various business functions
- Implement best practices and standards for Power BI report design, development, and deployment
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide insights
- Elicit requirements from various stakeholders and translate them into robust solutions
- Maintain report documentation to ensure that it is clear, accurate, and up-to-date, and that it follows the best practices and standards of the organization
- Collaborate with other analysts and stakeholders to review and improve documentation quality and consistency
- Coordinate & collaborate cross functionally with other data analysts, data engineers and business stakeholders to ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency
- Support Data Analytics team members
What You’ll Bring
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in information systems, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or related field
- Experience: Zero to two years of experience in data analysis, data mining, data visualization, or business intelligence

- An aptitude for thinking creatively to solve complex business problems using data and analytics
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack (Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI Desktop/Server, Power BI Report Builder/SSRS, etc.)
- Knowledge of SQL, DAX, Python, R, or other programming languages for data analysis
- Awareness of data modeling techniques and database schemas (star, snowflake)
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, presenting your findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner
- Strong sense of curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $59,000 to $69,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
