Job Description
Under the direct supervision of the Chief Technical Officer, plan, lay-out and perform a wide range of machine tool operations in a shop environment to construct, alter and repair equipment components.
- Ability to perform set ups on lathes and mills without supervision.
- Inspecting parts for defects or flaws, such as scratches or dents, and making any necessary repairs.
- Operating machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, drill presses, grinders to fabricate parts.
- Reading blueprints or engineering drawings and making operating notes regarding machining requirements
- Understanding of mathematics
- Knows how to operate HAAS/ MORI SEIKI controllers.
- Possess good interpersonal skills in communication, listening, ability to work as a part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and accept guidance and constructive criticism.
- Must be able to bend, lift, reach and stand for long periods of time.
- 2D and 3D Model design (AutoCAD, Inventor, Solidworks, Others).
- Specialist with CAM (MasterCAM).
- Preparation of budgets and scope of works.
- Identification, request and collection of materials.
- Ability to work as a team.
- Proactive and versatile in carrying out the mentioned tasks.
- Plan work and operation sequences that include progressive machining operations.
- Assist Manufacturing Engineering and/or General Machinist with the construction of tooling and
equipment required for production. - Perform development and experimental work, as assigned, and proceed from own conceptions
according to design and specifications. Perform difficult machining operations that require
complicated setups. Provide advice and assistance to other operators in the interpretations of work
detail on the more complicated drawings and tasks.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 5-10 years experience in CNCs.
• Knowledge of a wide variety of metals and their properties as related to machining.
• English is NOT a requisite but is a clear plus

Condition Based Maintenance (with techniques such as vibration analysis, thermography, process
parameters or ultrasounds) to Corrective Maintenance carrying out reparations and refurbishments.
