Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate manual machines such as lathes, boring mills, and knee mills
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy
- Perform machining operations to produce parts according to specifications
- Inspect finished parts for quality and make necessary adjustments
- Maintain and clean machines and work area
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and solve machining issues
Requirements:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining principles
- Proficiency in operating manual machines including lathes, mills, and grinders
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience with CAD software is a plus
- Familiarity with CNC programming is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machining issues
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
