Conventional Manual Lathe, Manual Mill and ID/OD Grinding ONLY

Job Responsibilities:
Machining various steel and aluminum aircraft parts on manual lathes, mills, ID/OD grinders, and other manual machining equipment.
Holding tight tolerances (+/- .0005).
Low production, prototype environment, strong attention to details.
Read and interpret shop routings / travelers, and interpret engineering drawings.
Requirements:
High Energy with a positive attitude (self starter)
5+ years minimum experience
Proficient on manual lathes and manual mills.
Holding tight tolerances (+/- .0005).
Skilled with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
Effectively communicate in English; written, reading, and verbal skills.
Flexible, eager to learn and willing to be crossed trained.
We are looking for a Team player that can be possibly be groomed for a lead position.
Education and/or Experience:
High School Graduate or GED.
Exposed to manufacturing/machine shop /Aviation environments.
Equipment Used:
Basic hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and tooling. CMM, hydraulic and/or mechanical manufacturing equipment, various types of grinders, sanders, mills, lathes, hand air tools, misc. measuring equipment, personal safety devices.
