Manual Lathe Operator

Superior Washer and Gasket is seeking trainee or experienced Lathe operator in a conventional machine shop using Acer and LeBlond lathes and drill presses. Excellent opportunity for someone who wants to learn a trade in machining and seeking a long term position with a solid company background.

• Entry level full-time position or experienced.
• Pay $22 per hour to start.
• Pay Commensurate with experience.

Hours

Monday to Friday

Working Hours - 7:00 AM to 3:45 PM

Break - 9:20 AM - 9:30 AM

Lunch Break - 12:15 PM to 1:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Operation of Conventional Acer and LeBlond Lathes.
• Select, align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials on machines.
• Operation of Drill Presses
• Operation of Surface Grinding Machines
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with others
• Good work ethic
• Over time when needed.
