The successful candidate will prepare legally defensible 3D visual simulations, artistic renderings, and other visual outreach materials including VR 360 degree simulations and interactive 3D environments. These deliverables will support and inform visual impact assessments and related analyses for Environmental Impact Statements, state and federal utility licensing applications, and outreach to cultural resources and other stakeholders.

The location of the position is flexible and 100% remote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to preparation of legally defensible 3D visual simulations and artistic renderings for Environmental Impact Statements and state licensing applications for a wide range of projects.
- Create 3D models, renderings, photomontages, simulations, and animations.
- Work with cutting edge hardware and software to help ERM evolve and innovate how we communicate complex designs of major capital projects to the public.
Key Requirements:
- A minimum of 5+ years' work experience in related field, including a minimum of 2 years of practical experience in the preparation of 3D visualizations, 3D modeling and 3D simulation.
- Must have demonstrated abilities with the following software and processes:
- Autodesk 3D Studio Max;
- Civil 3D and ArcGIS, or Global Mapper and geospatial translation of data from a wide assortment of software and coordinate systems;
- Forest Pack Pro and Rail Clone or other scattering and optimization plugins;
- Vray and real-time GPU rendering;
- Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects and Illustrator); and
- Google Earth and SketchUp.
- Ability to work on tight project deadlines as both an individual and part of a team.
- Execute multiple projects within scope / schedule / budget expectations and ensure quality standards on deliverables.
- A passion for innovation in the 3D sector and willingness to advance the quality of work.
- Experience capturing high-resolution photographs for simulations is a plus.
- Candidates must be able to demo samples of their work (via a website, google drive, link, etc.)
