- Monitor and review FDA drug updates and approvals and incorporate the changes into existing drug monographs or create new drug monographs
- Review and update existing drug monographs and content related to pharmacotherapy to ensure content accuracy and currency
- Create, update, and maintain drug interaction statements by interpreting information found within the Prescribing Information as well as a variety of other sources
- Be part of the drug information team working directly with other pharmacists to develop drug information content contained in monographs, articles, and other various projects
- Collaborate with editors, staff, and stakeholders on other pharmacotherapy-related content
Skills and Qualifications:
- PharmD degree required
- 7+ years of relevant pharmacy and/or editorial experience, oncology preferred
- 2+ years of medical writing/editing experience
- Ability to use pharmacy practice background and expertise in pharmacotherapy to organize and develop drug information based on clinical needs of physician readers
- Ability to prepare additional material or rewrite content, as needed and match publication style and requirements
