Manager/Senior Staff Accountant

Qualifications:

JOB DESCRIPTION: 
 Associate or Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience working
in the field of accounting
 3 to 5 years of experience
 Experience working with small/medium businesses
 Proficiency in Quickbooks accounting software
 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
 Ability to operate in an organized manner, problem solve and work independently
 Willingness to learn/adapt to new software and a comfort level with cloud based work
environments
 Ability to communicate professionally in both written and written and clientfacing/
interpersonal communications

Responsibilities:

Perform high-level accounting/bookkeeping functions.

Supervise Staff Accountants/bookkeepers on client engagements to ensure client
deadlines are met and work product meets C&H quality standards

Manage onboarding of new clients, including evaluating client needs, assigning work to
appropriate Staff Accountants/bookkeepers, and facilitating the start-up phase to
ensure transition timeliness

Manage client engagement profitability

Maintain 80% chargeability
