Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Manager, Venture and Innovation
Position Status: Full-time, Day Shift
Position Location: This position is remote position.

Standard Working Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM (ET).
Position Summary:
Growth and innovation initiatives, and partnership opportunities.
- The Manager will help perform and manage investment due diligence for potential strategic investments, assess startup companies for potential partnership with Sentara, perform and manage market research, and support strategic business planning activities.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the Chief Venture Officer in developing a new venture and innovation infrastructure for Sentara Health.
- Perform and manage due diligence for potential investments.
- Evaluate startups for potential operating partnership and engagement with Sentara.
- Develop financial and business models for potential Sentara partnerships, joint ventures, and co-development arrangements.
- Support the development and drafting of de novo business plans for high potential Sentara growth opportunities including research, modeling, project management, document writing, and presentation development.
- Perform and manage business opportunity assessments in emerging healthcare innovation areas including market research, company diligence, financial modeling, and recommendation development.
- Facilitate the introduction of innovative ideas and external market strategies into Sentara.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related Financial field
- 5-7 years experience Healthcare, Venture Capital or Start Up experience
