What to Expect:

The Manager of UGE RepairCenters & Into Plane Fueling (ITP) ground service equipment (GSE) will plan, organize, and direct GSE maintenance duties to meet objectives with the most efficient use of personnel, facilities, and equipment. You will have direct oversight of all UGE Repair Centers, technicians, and ITP equipment. We are seeking a leader who is a self-starter, problem solver, and effective communicator to support the long-term vision of the organization.

How you will make an impact:

    Manage UGE Repair Centers & ITP GSE Programs
    Oversee UGE Stations with third party maintenance as needed
    Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, industry regulations, and safety standards
    Stay current with aviation regulations at the federal, state, and local levels
    Efficiently allocate resources, including personnel, tools, and equipment, to meet the operational demands
    Plan and manage budget for GSE maintenance and operations
    Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and efficiency enhancements within the GSE department
    Maintain detailed inventory records of machinery, equipment repairs, and service activities
    Ensure GSE equipment at all locations are available and operating at peak efficiency to support aviation operations
    May coordinate efforts of a project team to complete work within project deadlines
    Provides solutions to routine/complex problems
    Travel up to 40% (depending on business need)
    Other duties as assigned to support the GSE department


What you will bring:


Experience

    2-4 years leading or teaching GSE maintenance personnel
    1-3 years of repair center management and regulatory compliance
    Automotive certification or similar knowledge base of mechanical and electrical vehicle systems and controls
    Knowledge in facility maintenance and regulations for chemicals and storage
    Prior ground services equipment maintenance experience

Knowledge/Skills:
    Excellent verbal and written communications skills required
    Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Word) required
    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills required
    Ability to multi-task required
    Understanding of work order management and inventory systems
    Technical background (mechanical, hydraulic, electrical)
    Automotive repair for combustion and non-combustion vehicles

Preferred Experience
    3-5 years of GSE/Automotive repair and evaluation
    3-5 years managing employees and third party vendors

Education:
    High school diploma /GED or related field

Compensation
Base Salary range: $82,000- $92,000 (L5) annually

ADA Specifications
    Ability to operate a computer to enter and retrieve data
    Requires ability to speak audibly and listen actively.
    Requires ability to use computers and other office equipment.
    Requires ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time.
    Ability to lift up to 70lbs on a consistent basis.
    Requires ability to operate heavy equipment or power tools
    Requires ability to operate a motor vehicle
    Ability to pass all pre-screening clearances applicable to position qualifications.
