Job Description

Role Purpose:

The Treasury Manager will join a team focused on supporting the banking and cash operational needs across NBCUniversal’s portfolio of businesses (Media, Studios, News and Destination and Experiences) and play a meaningful role supporting NBCU’s Treasury operations. The role will report directly to the VP, Treasury and will be responsible for managing Treasury operations for the Americas.

The successful candidate should be knowledgeable in liquidity management solutions, banking services and the current Treasury technology landscape. The ideal candidate should have a track record of dealing with complexity and thriving under pressure, and have experience in a global Treasury organization in cash management.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily cash operations for the Americas, ensuring adequate cash and liquidity is available to meet entities’ financial obligations
  • Responsible for managing the company’s cash and liquidity rolling forecast which includes proactive communications with business units, FP&A, Tax and Controllership to improve accuracy and reduce variances between forecasts and actuals
  • Partner with business units to identify and implement banking solutions that support specific requirements
  • Evaluate opportunities to optimize cash visibility and reporting, streamline processes, and enhance internal controls
  • Support M&A integration efforts in partnership with corporate development, technical accounting, systems, and finance stakeholders
  • Actively participate in global finance transformation initiatives
  • Support tax group with annual FBAR filing process
  • Act as system administrator for Treasury-controlled banking platforms
  • Prepare materials for internal and external auditors as requested
  • Support special projects as assigned
Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree preferred
  • MBA, CTP, or other professional designation a plus
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Corporate Treasury
  • Strong knowledge of banking services, working capital management, Treasury trends, and technology systems
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including financial modeling, project management and implementation experience
  • Must be comfortable with Treasury-related topics with a constant eye on process improvement and creating efficiencies through technology

Desired Characteristics:

  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and comfortable with managing competing projects and deliverables on tight timelines
  • Familiarity with banking platforms, Quantum and Trax, a plus
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Power BI Reporting and Dashboards
  • Proficient at creating managerial level presentations and analysis
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (oral, written & listening)
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced and fluid environment
  • Self-starter: you take initiative, set goals, and meet them
  • Knowledge of media industry a plus

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be willing to work in New York, NY
  • This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
