Description: Treasury Deposits Modeling team is part of American Express Global Treasury organization and is responsible for development, maintenance, execution and documentation of models and analytical frameworks used in direct deposits products. This team also provides analytical support to broader American Express Finance organization and participates in Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) and Internal Capital Adequacy Process (ICAAP), on analysis related to direct deposits.
The team collaborates with various business partners within the American Express Finance and Consumer Services, as well as with oversight groups such as model validation and internal audit. Responsibilities: - Development, maintenance, execution and documentation of various models - Support Treasury and Finance teams with their analytical needs related to direct deposits - Participate in different forecasting (balance, price, etc.) related to personal savings products using various quantitative models and techniques - Participate in firm-wide CCAR stress testing - Collaborate with other modeling teams within American Express Finance - Communicate models internally and incorporate stakeholders feedbacks - Interact with the internal validation and audit groups in addressing model validation findings Requirements: Master's degree in a quantitative discipline (Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematic, Operation Research, Engineering) - 2+ years of relevant work experience preferred - Hands-on experience in building statistical and financial models using various techniques and large datasets - Deep understanding and experience with various machine learning techniques such as Gradient Boosting and Prophet - Strong programming skills in Python and SQL, and familiarity with Hive, Spark and Yellowbrick - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint - Experience in writing technical documentation - Experience with data visualization software such as Microsoft Power BI and Tableau - Strong communication skill Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
