Are you ready to put your Management and Experience to work at Northrop Grumman? If so, our Defense Systems sector wants you to join our Team as a Subcontracts Manager. You will be responsible for overseeing the execution of multiple key vendors on the APN-241 programs. This position will have direct supervision of 2 - 4 subcontracts administrators currently on the program.
This position is full-time, onsite at our Warner Robins, Georgia facility.

Position Responsibilities:
Will have responsibilities for evaluating proposal submissions, identifying risk and mitigation strategies, developing negotiation plans and negotiating, and preparing subcontract files in compliance with Northrop Grumman principles and operating practices
Collaborating with program management and other multi-functional departments for subcontract requirements and general procurement on the APN-241 program
Will manage a team of Supply Chain professionals and will be responsible for delivering status reports, act with a sense of urgency in response to exigent requirements, applying Supply Chain knowledge and experience to successfully navigate high pace and high-level expectations
Use your outstanding written and verbal communication skills and be extremely organized in order to accomplish the required tasks and brief senior leadership.
Quickly identify and communicate risk and opportunity
Maintain strategic supplier relationships
Use your understanding of established processes and procedures and identify efficiencies in specific program processes
Align team goals to Sector and Division objectives
Manage subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the services performed on the program
Evaluate subcontractor performance, quality, and cost
Coordinate and manage a diverse group of people and skills as well as influence others outside of his/her specific area of responsibility
Plan, schedule and arrange activities to accomplish objectives
Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts
Basic Requirements:
A High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 10 years of Supply Chain / subcontracts / program management or operations experience. A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years of Supply Chain / subcontracts / program management or operations experience may also be considered. Master’s Degree with a minimum of 4+ years of experience working in Supply Chain management including purchasing and procurement
Proficiency in the procurement process, including but not limited to source selection, price analysis, negotiations, and risk management
A minimum of 1 year of personnel management
Experience with demonstrated leadership and people management skills and with the ability to model and promote a strong sense of engagement, teamwork, and cooperation
Understanding of general subcontract execution workflows
Ability to successfully obtain/maintain the required background investigation / Security clearance.
Preferred Requirements:
Master’s Degree with a minimum of 4+ years of experience working in Supply Chain management including purchasing and procurement
Management experience of 3+ years
Industry certifications in Supply Chain field (ISM, APICS, etc.)
Aerospace and defense experience
Experience using SAP
